Power usage information (p6) – see the figures from the University of Pennsylvania showing the amount of power used by various electrical equipment.

Cables (p8) – make sure they are laid with the heaviest lowest. This example shows the (heavier) power cable pulling the (lighter) USB and network cables.


Power Adaptors (p10) – are devices really off? These AC-DC adaptors consume small amounts of power all the time they are plugged in to a live circuit. They can also pose a fire risk if used incorrectly.
